All the hot water and heating is produced by solar panels and a biomass boiler. The heating in the apartments is controlled by an energy saving centralized heating system in the basement. The use of floor heating panels warms during the cold seasons and remains cool in the summer for total comfort and no waste of energy.

There is also a new project for installing solar panels and a small wind turbine farm that will permit us to be totally energy self sufficient.

All the water used both in the house and on the farm comes from a natural spring on our land. After careful renovation of the canals, a large water reservoir has been constructed upstream of the agriturismo with over fifty square metres of water and, of course, a water purification system. The whole cycle of our water is visible making for interesting viewing on a walk.
